In episode three of Twenties, Hattie shows her struggle in finding her “happy place” to write. The neighborhood barista continues to show interest and helps her out with some writing tips. Nia is still entertaining Tristian who brings up her life passion to the forefront of her mind. She continues to think heavily on going back to pursue acting. Marie, unfortunately, gets backstabbed by the other African American coworker, Ben, but has other concerns for her man, Chuck.

Nia prepares for an audition that bursts her bubble about the industry. Marie has a blocked sacral chakra and confronts her boyfriend about regarding recent concerns. Hattie is battling against time to retrieve documents for Ida B whose relationship makes a sudden turn.
