Fans React to ‘How I Met Your Father’ Reboot!

The wait is over, How I Met Your Father is now streaming on Hulu! We have the first look at Twitter’s reaction to the new series, starring Hilary Duff, Francia Raisa, and Kim Cattrall!

We all loved How I Met Your Mother when we looked into the life of Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor) as he tells his children how he met their mother. The reboot, How I Met Your Father still references the original show but a new story is unfolding where Sophie (Hilary Duff) explains to her son how she met his father.

Fans had a lot to say about the new series and here are Twitter’s first reactions:

A new reboot calls for a new cast and fans are loving the friend group so far, and of course, we are all fangirling over Hilary Duff being the main character:

Bob Saget, who narrated all nine seasons of How I Met Your Mother, is given a special tribute at the end of the pilot following his sudden death:

All in all, How I Met Your Father has a promising start to fans! People love what they have seen so far:

I like how in #HIMYF, the show:

-confirms it’s someone we meet in the pilot
-purposely doesn’t show her kid to not give anything away
-doesn’t rule out Sophie might marry a woman
and the “father” could be a donor/non-nuclear situation
-includes THE apartment
