Reactions to the LOTR: The Rings of Power Season Finale

With season one of Amazon Prime’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power officially finished, fans have so much to say! Here are a collection of fan reactions to the finale of Rings of Power.

The season one finale of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has fans absolutely enticed! Theories were confirmed, rings were forged, and adventures are being had, and with so many questions answered, even more were raised as to what’s going to happen next. With season two of Rings of Power currently being filmed, the season’s likely not going to be premiered until 2024, and fans are forced to sit with their predictions for at least the next two years–what torture! To hold us over, here’s a collection of fan reactions to the finale to help hold us over. Needless to say, spoilers are ahead!

The visuals were truly stunning, amazing work on behalf of the crew!

Seeing Galadriel being offered to stand by Halbrand/Sauron’s side, getting a taste of what she could be with him, AND knowing this scene from Fellowship of the Ring exists–the path to Galadriel’s future is clear, but getting glimpses of what could have been is insane.

The confirmation that the Stranger is, in fact, Gandalf was so satisfying! And seeing these references, and his friendship with Nori is so heart-warming!

Fair enough, to be honest. He could have done with less gaslighting and deceit, but it was quite a romantic offer nonetheless.

Yeah, Halbrand/Sauron really wasn’t hiding his true identity all that well with this line, was he? Still, the reveal was so good and the seeds were planted so well–other shows should take notes. It’s good to confirm fan speculations and theories sometimes! Not everything has to come out of left field.

THE RINGS! It’ll be so interesting to see how these powerful rings change the characters of Galadriel, Elrond, and Celebrimbor and bring them power. Not to mention how exciting it will be to see how the Dwarves and Men also forge rings for themselves, and Sauron too. Season two can’t come fast enough!
