We are 2 episodes into the second season of White Lotus and theories about what we can expect are already circulating. Here are seven fan predictions that might actually be right!
We are two episodes into White Lotus: Sicily on HBO and cannot wait for the next one, “Bull Elephants”! Episode 2 dove into the lives of the resort guests on day 2 of their luxurious vacation at San Domenico Palace in Taormina, Sicily, Italy. That cliffhanger between Tanya (Jennifer Coolidge) and Greg (Jon Gries) indicated a massive secret, and we can’t wait to find out more details. This episode created a lot of buzz, so let’s see what the fans are predicting for the rest of this season.
This first theory makes a lot of sense. We have already seen numerous red flags with Cameron, so it wouldn’t be much of a surprise that he continues to do no good. This fan theory predicts that Cameron is a cheater or ultimately will cheat on his wife. When grandpa Bert was retelling the tale of Hades and Persephone, it then cuts to the next scene of Cameron pulling Harper underwater. Foreshadowing perhaps?
Look, he comes from two generations of cheaters, the major theme of this season is infidelity, so there’s no way he won’t end up like his father. We will be silently rooting for Albie to do good, but no real “nice guy” actually refers to himself as a nice guy.
Calling it now, it’s going to be Tanya. It has to be! We are over Greg and his lies so maybe it’s a good thing he’s leaving. Out with Greg, in with Bert!
This brings up a great point. Since Mia and Lucia are technically White Lotus guests, they are now a part of the death roster. The contrasts between the wealthy and the poor in this show are always deeper than they seem, so this theory could be heading in the right direction.
Reddit is literally unmatched. We love this theory because it really takes a TV buff to know this kind of stuff. Maybe Ethan is a villain, or maybe HBO just isn’t sponsored by Apple. We will just have to wait and see!
This last prediction is almost too perfect; we don’t want to believe it. However, we can look at this in two ways; Greg is sparing Tanya’s feelings to keep her happy, or he’s actually cheating and has an entire other family and is scamming Tanya. It seems unlikely since he signed a prenup, but are we sure Tanya would actually be driven to kill? With 8 more weeks until we discover who winds up dead in Sicily, we hope these predictions leave you with things to keep an eye out for as we continue to watch each week.
