Sweeney and Powell are excited for fans to see their new humorous and heated 1 hour and 44-minute film.

Plot

The R-rated rom-com is based on William Shakespere’s Much Ado About Nothing, with an enemies-to-lovers trope. Bea and Ben met in college and had a great first date. However, their spark extinguishes, and they quickly get burned. They turn into enemies and unexpectedly reunite years after graduation at a wedding in Australia. One of the brides (Bea’s sister) fears their tension will ruin the marriage. However, the two end up teaming up as a fake couple after learning about the presence of their exes. Ben hopes to make his ex jealous, while Bea hopes to avoid hers. They believe they are fooling the other wedding guests, but perhaps they are only fooling themselves. Sydney Sweeney plays Bea and tells Entertainment Tonight that the film “gives love, it gives humor, it gives sex.”

You can even feel the tension when announcing the trailer.
