So much has happened in your favorite Regency Era romance, ‘Bridgerton’, that it can be hard to keep track of the lives of the ton! While waiting for everything to unfold, here’s a brief recap before we head into the second part of the new season!
Here are a few key points to remember before heading into part 2 on June 13th! Anthony and Kate took an extended honeymoon, leaving Violet to serve as the head of the house for just a bit longer. Francesca is dealing with having to choose between a practical match of Lord Samadani or the kind, yet loving match of Lord Kilmartin. Violet is beginning to enjoy the company of Lady Danbury’s brother, Lord Marcus Anderson, who seeks a new wife and a second chapter. Benedict and Lady Arnold are distracted by each other from the turns of the ton. Cressida was forbidden from being friends with Eloise, and now spends her time engaging in conversations with her newfound friend. Eloise knows Penelope’s secret and despises her old friend. And of course, after a sensual scene featuring Penelope and Colin on the carriage ride back to their respective houses, Colin plainly asks, “For God’s sake, Penelope Featherington, are you going to marry me or not?.” Oh boy were we on the edge of our seats! We know we are ready for part 2 to release on Netflix! Are you?
Fan Theories
We are beyond excited for the second half of season 3 to be released on June 13th as there is so much that could happen! There are truths to be told and lies to be revealed as this story is only just beginning to unfold. The first half of season 3 was released on May 16th and there were so many things left to be desired upon the conclusion of part one. We and fans alike have been dying to see the remainder of this season’s story! Speculations and theories are floating around about what could happen next, so let’s dive right in!
Cressida x Whistledown
In order to steal Penelope’s spotlight after bagging a Bridgerton, fans are speculating that Cressida Cowper is going to announce that she is the elusive Lady Whistledown. Though we know that Penelope is in fact the intelligent writer behind the gossip columns, will she accept that her biggest rival is taking credit for her work or will Pen own up to being the author to the many gentle readers?
this is going to be cressida claiming to be whistledown and penelope feeling the walls caving in having to battle if she needs to reveal herself because she can’t let her tormenter take the hard work she’s done away from her mark my words

Colin’s Reaction
If Penelope does own up to being the author, what consequences may she face? We have seen Colin’s disdain for Lady Whistledown earlier this season. How might he react once learning his now betrothed is the voice behind the pen? After stating that he will ruin her, how will this affect Polin? Many fans out there think that Colin’s tone may change when it is revealed that it is Penelope who has written all the secrets of the Ton.

Color Theory
If you thought colors were just in Bridgerton, you would be dead wrong! This show knows how to rock color theory and fans have been discussing released stills and shots from the upcoming season. Pen has been in love with Colin since they were young and he will forever and always be her first love. Fans spotted that she is consistently only wearing the bright and dainty lilac shade in the upcoming season as a representation of this first love.
