It’s been almost two whole decades since the original Frasier show ended, and now the revival is almost here! This is everything we know about the reboot so far!
The anticipated Frasier reboot will premiere on October 12, 2023, and will be streaming only on Paramount+. The official trailer for the series came out on September 14, 2023. Here’s everything we know so far about the show!
Where We Left Off
The original sitcom ended with Frasier deciding to move to Chicago and leave Seattle to be with his girlfriend, Charlotte. It was a shock for viewers as Frasier was planning to move to San Franciso for a new job, but instead, he followed his heart. The rest of the other character’s storylines ended as new beginnings for them. The episode was called, “Goodbye Seattle” and many viewers felt it had a proper finale ending.
After 11 years, Frasier’s finale aired on NBC #OnThisDay in 2004, ending Kelsey Grammer’s run playing the character (starting on Cheers) after a staggering 20 years, 4 Emmys and 2 Golden Globes… for now.

The only other original cast member who is returning as a recurring character is Peri Gilpin who played Roz Doyle, Frasier’s long-time friend and co-worker. Bebe Neuwirth said she is open to coming back to reprise her character as Fraiser’s ex-wife, Lilith Sternin who was originally on Cheers. Trailer Reactions
When the trailer dropped many people felt nostalgic just from seeing Frasier Crane back on their screens.
Does anyone else get hit with a huge wave of nostalgia at seeing Frasier being advertised online?

Another fan said the trailer looks hilarious and that they will be definitely tuning in, but did point out that it will be a bit unusual not to see some of their favorite original characters like Niles who was played by David Hyde Pierce.
The trailer is funny, but it will be odd without Niles & Martin and Eddie (Moose), Daphne & Roz. But Frasier is one of the best, if not the best comedies ever made so I will definitely watch it. #Frasier

Another fan commented on how seeing Frasier Crane again was sentimental to them.
Frasier was simply the wittiest and best written sitcom (at its peak) we have ever seen… approaching this new series with caution but it is both nostalgic and great to see this iconic character back on screen! I will be watching it 100%! 🙌🏽
