Barbie is premiering July 21, accompanied by an album that will be released the same day. Produced by Mark Ronson, and featuring an exciting lineup of artists- with more to be revealed, fans are eagerly anticipating Barbie The Album!
With a star-studded cast, viral social media campaigns, and recreating the Barbie Dreamhouse, Barbie has become one of the most anticipated films of the summer. Now, there’s, even more, to look forward to with Barbie The Album, which features an impressive lineup of artists like Dua Lipa, Nicki Minaj, Lizzo, and more. Ryan Gosling even has a song of his own. While the album is set to be released on July 21, fans have already gotten a sneak peek of what’s to come. 5 out of 17 songs on the tracklist have been released, much to the excitement of fans who have been using them as sounds on social media and tweeting about them. Charli XCX’s “Speed Drive” and “Barbie World (With Aqua)” by Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice are popular amongst fans with millions of streams.

What other artists can we expect to hear on the lineup? Karol G, Dua Lipa, and PinkPantheress are among the other artists whose songs were released early. Dua Lipa’s “Dance The Night”, which was the album’s first single, was chosen as one of Spotify’s Songs of the Summer. HAIM, The Kid Laroi, Dominic Fike, Tame Impala, and GAYLE were also added to the tracklist. Ryan Gosling, who plays Ken in the movie song is titled “I’m Just Ken’, which fans are eager to hear.

Two songs on the tracklist are listed as unknown, which has caused a large amount of speculation amongst fans on Twitter as to who it could be. The Barbie team took to social media to say they are announcing more “Barbies and Kens” in the weeks to come. Some artists fans hope to see on the album are Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, and Taylor Swift.
