Show Summary: In 2010, Harley Morenstein created a YouTube show called “Epic Meal Time,” an idea spawned after he and three friends cheated while on a health and fitness kick. It was so popular that Morenstein quit his teaching job in Montreal and focused on making more episodes. Now the guys live in Los Angeles and star in a TV version of the online show. Without professional culinary training or experience, they combine ingredients like waffles, chicken hearts, cake mix, maple syrup, bacon grease and whiskey to create “epic” meals. It’s that simple — well, maybe not simple. Delicious? Hmm… debatable. Popular? Yeah, that’s it.
