Emma Stone is officially a mom! Here’s what we know about the birth of the Cruella star’s first baby girl
Emma Stone is gearing up for a busy year! The Oscar-winning actress not only has her own starring vehicle Cruella coming out on May 28th, but she has also just given birth. Stone and her husband Dave McCary welcomed their first child together today reportedly a baby girl.
Emma Stone is notoriously private with no verified social media accounts. On the other hand, Dave does have an Instagram, which he used to announce his engagement to Stone in 2019. The pair met while Dave was working as a segment director on Saturday Night Live and sparks flew when Emma hosted in 2016 to promote her award-winning role in La La Land. Since then, the pair have been inseparable up to their engagement in late 2019. About a year later, it was reported that Dave and Emma had a private wedding weeks after eagle-eyed fans noticed the couple wearing matching gold bands. Soon after, Emma was spotted running errands with a baby bump.
While the couple have been quiet about the upcoming birth, Emma Stone did open up about starting a family in November while speaking to Entertainment Tonight about her animated movie The Croods: A New Age. The film franchise which centers around a prehistoric family unit or pack has influenced Stone’s view about her own future. She told E.T., “I feel pretty good about starting my own pack.” However, while the Crood family is rambunctious and adventurous, Stone said her own pack might be a little different. “I don’t think that my pack would be quite as physically capable as the Croods are. They’re pretty rough and tumble and I don’t know if my pack would be as rough and tumble.” She said.
We wish Emma and her new pack all the luck in the world!
