Breslin finds Mimi and Pablo Acosta at his secret location, and Breslin tries to get Acosta safely across the American border. The FBI find Acosta before Breslin can get him out, however. In a rash move, Breslin goes into the house, gets Acosta to sign the paperwork, and then Breslin tries to walk Acosta to the river which would grant him U.S. immunity. In an even bolder move, Acosta pushes Breslin to the ground, and the FBI proceeds to shoot Acosta dead. Meanwhile, the elections commence. When the Anti-SNIPE software Moreno developed is compromised, the system is shut down, and Felix sends his men to handle things the old fashioned way. That is, Felix’s men show up to the polls with guns and forces the people running the paperwork to add an extra “0” in favor of the PRI party which supports Felix.
