Disney+’s ‘Win or Lose’: Everything We Know!

Pixar is releasing their first-ever original animated series! Here’s what we know about Pixar’s ‘Win or Lose’ that is coming to Disney+ this year!

Pixar is known for its amazing films such as Toy Story, Finding Nemo, and newly released Inside Out 2! If you’re a fan of any of these movies, then you’ll be able to look forward to a new release coming to the Disney+ lineup and it’s an original! Win or Lose is set to finally come out this year after a line of setbacks and changes! Directors and creators Carrie Hobson and Michael Yates have been working hard on the series throughout the past two years since its announcement and we know Pixar is going to knock it out of the park!

What is The Story About?

Win or Lose follows a group of 8 young athletes and their coach as they prepare for the big championship game! Each story intertwines with the next and brings to life various avenues of how the characters experience an event. Hobson and Yates discovered this idea when working on Toy Story 4 and had varying experiences of pitch and development meetings that they both were attending. Thus the storyline of Win or Lose will reveal what it feels like to be in the shoes of the unique cast of characters! Win or Lose features everyone from  insecure kids, their helicopter parents, and even a lovesick umpire. Pixar is working to create these experiences with incredibly funny, very emotional and uniquely animated perspectives!

Win or Lose Cast of Voices

Though there is not much information regarding who the Win or Lose voice actors are, on September 9, 2022, during the 2022 D23 Expo, the leading role of Coach Dan was announced to be renowned actor Will Forte. You may recognize his voice from his other roles in The Lego Movie, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, Clone High, and The Great North. The other voices that have been named are Rosa Salazar and Milan Ray! You might know Rosa Salazar from Bird Box, Alita: Battle Angel, and even Maze Runner: The Death Cure and you may have seen Milan Ray in The Wonder Years, Troop Zero, or Modern Love! The rest of the Win or Lose voice cast has yet to be announced but with Pixar’s track record, they are sure to be the best!
