Disney Channel stars Preston Oliver and Elle Graham talk with AfterBuzz TV about Griffin and Harper’s relationship if Savannah will change the future, and how they reacted to the Season 2 news!
Chae’ Jones was able to chat with Preston Oliver (Griffin) and Elle Graham (Savannah) during a virtual junket to talk about the upcoming season 2 of Disney Channel’s Secrets of Sulphur Springs.
After the Season 1 finale cliffhanger, fans waited for news that the show would come back for a Season 2. I’m sure no one was as excited when the news was announced of a season renewal as the cast of the show. When asked how they felt when they heard they were going to be coming back for a season 2, “Okay, well I was so excited. One because I had been really hoping after season 1 there was going to be a season 2 and once I heard it I was so happy. I mean I don’t really know how to describe it any other way. I was excited to read the scripts, I was excited to be in New Orleans and I was excited to eat the food.”
“I was excited to eat the food and read all the new scripts and I really wanted to redeem myself like in my way. I feel like in the first season I was 5 feet on the dot and my voice was really high. In the second season, I grew, I’m 5’6” and my voice is a little deeper. So I get to show everyone that I grew a little bit.”
In Season 1 we learned that Savannah didn’t just go missing. She actually traveled back to 1962 and where she decided to stay and live the life she felt she was deprived of in the 90s by not having a family of her own. When asked if she thinks that as much as Savannah learns she also changes the future in any way? Graham said, “I think that there is a possibility that she changed the future because of Griffin and Harper’s influence. If you think about it Griffin and Harper were never there with her then everything would’ve played out as is. So when you’re messing with time it’s obviously going to mess up things in the past and future.”
Throughout season 1, Harper and Griffin played at being romantically involved to keep their families off what they were actually doing. Like time traveling. Yet both Griffin and Harper have forged a really strong friendship. When asked if he believes that there could be more than friendship between Griffin and Harper, Oliver replied, “There’s a possibility I’m sure. This season they play around with it a little bit. I guess you’re going to have to watch and see what happens.”

What you need to know going into season two of Secrets of Sulphur Springs is Griffin and Harper unravel new mysteries about The Tremont, and Harper follows the real ghost back to the 1930s to learn more about her family’s deep-seated connection to the hotel. When the power source to the time machine is unintentionally taken and the portal disappears, Harper becomes trapped in the past with her great-uncle Sam and great-great-grandfather Elijah, while her great-grandmother Daisy is left to navigate the present. With help from Savannah from her new life in 1962, the friends attempt to fix the time machine and bring back the portal before it’s too late and their lives are forever changed.
