‘Dancing with the Stars’ Horror Night Superlatives!

Dancing with the Stars is ready for Halloween, are you? Here are our superlatives for this week’s horror-filled dances, costumes, and more!

**Elimination Spoilers**

Dancing with the Stars is wasting no time when it comes to Halloween, and this week we got to see all the horror-themed dances we could ever need! These dances featured horror movie themes such as IT, The Purge, A Quiet Place, and more. Halloween week is definitely the costume department’s time to shine and they did not disappoint!

Another elimination sent home Real Housewives star Kenya Moore and her partner Brandon Armstrong. Kenya has been in the bottom two previously, this elimination was not a huge surprise to viewers.

Here are our superlatives for “Horror Night” on Dancing with the Stars!

Best Choreography: Amanda Kloots & Alan Bersten

Can’t say we are surprised with this one! Amanda Kloots nails every dance you give her, but this Argentine Tango was something else! The footwork was just so crisp and professional, there’s no chance she isn’t making it to the finale! The costume and song choice also really added to this performance, such a great way to end the night!

Most Fun to Watch: Olivia Jade & Val Chmerkovskiy

The Purge is here! Olivia Jade took on a unique Paso Doble this week for “Horror Night” and it was quite the performance. This dance was fun while still somewhat “scary”, and was a nice switch up compared to some of the more intense dances of the night. One question though, were those smiles intentional?

Most Improved: Iman Shumpert & Daniella Karagach

Make way for Iman, this dance just got him a perfect score!! This dance was unreal, with his partner standing on top of his shoulders at 6 foot 5, throwing her around the floor, this Contemporary really showcased his talent. For the past few weeks, Iman has been knocking out several of the slower ballroom dances, leaving us begging to get back to his week one Jive moves. This dance reminded us why he is in this competition and why he deserves to be in the finale. The NBA star is already seeing so much support from fellow legends like Lebron James and Dwayne Wade, along with some even nicer comments from the judges. This dance will be one of those season favorites fans will look back to after the season has ended. Each week we have seen Iman improve more and more, and this dance really showcased that.

Best Costumes: JoJo Siwa & Jenna Johnson

JoJo Siwa is IT! No, we mean actually, she’s “IT”. These costumes, particularly JoJo’s, were unbelievable. This is by far one of the best costumes we have seen on DWTS, we’re just shocked it’s not The Miz for once! Siwa and Johnson danced a Jazz routine that was quite creative and fun to watch, but the clown costume stole the show.

Best Dance of the Night: Jimmie Allen & Emma Slater

Now, it’s hard not to put Iman’s name in this place with his iconic Contemporary routine, but this one had us on the edge of our seats. Jimmie Allen and Emma Slater also performed a Contemporary, this one is clearly based on the film A Quiet Place. This is by far our favorite dance of Jimmie’s and of the night. The intense emotion and flowing choreography gave us something we weren’t seeing a lot of last night, and this performance really stood out. This dance captured the entire essence of the movie in a short minute and a half. Everything about this performance was thought out and carefully crafted by Emma, we couldn’t be more impressed.

“Horror Night” absolutely delivered and gave us the Contemporary dances of our dreams! We are definitely ready for this weekend after that episode!
