For Father’s Day, we’re taking a look at celebrities who will be celebrating as first-time dads!
Each year, on the third Sunday of June, we celebrate Father’s Day, a day to honor our fathers and the bonds we have with them. Many new babies were born in the past year making people around the world first-time fathers, including some of our favorite celebs. Let’s take a look at who will be celebrating fathers day for the first time today!
A$AP Rocky
It’s a boy! On May 13th, 2022, A$AP Rocky and Rihanna welcomed their precious baby boy into the world– making them officially parents.
A$AP had even shared thoughts on how he plans on entering parenthood. In an interview with Dazed, the rapper stated:
“I will always remind my children to never lose their imagination, even as adults, no matter what.” He also stated that, “I hope to raise open-minded children. Not people who discriminate.”
Even though we don’t know their baby’s name yet, we do know that he’s a Taurus!
Nick Jonas
Can you believe it? Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are officially parents! The couple welcomed baby Malti, their first child via surrogate, which they kept a secret.
However, on January 21st, 2022, the couple posted on instagram, announcing the happy news!

After being in the NICU for over 100 days, their daughter, Malti Marie, finally arrived home. Jonas even spoke about his new baby girl and his feelings for parenthood on the Today Show.
“The weight of everything is much more intense,” he told the publication.“I think it’s now about trying to be as present as possible and as thoughtful as you can be for your family, but also for other people’s journeys. I’m so grateful for (Malti Marie) and the wonderful perspective of being a parent.”
Michael Cera
Arrested Development star, Michael Cera and his wife, Nadine, actually welcomed their first born child last year, but it was kept a secret.
It wasn’t until Amy Schumer blurted out, “Michael has a baby, too, is that public knowledge? I just outed him, I just outed his baby,” in an Entertainment Tonight interview on March 4th, 2022 that world finally knew. To which, The Superbad actor responded, “We’re right at the beginning of it. We’re doing the very basics right now.”
On March 7th, 2022, Cera confirmed the sex and age of his baby as he told Extra that “He’s just a little 6-month-old baby.”
Odell Beckham Jr.
NFL star, Odell Beckham Jr., and his wife, Lauren Wood, welcomed baby Zydn, their first newborn, on February 17th, 2022.
Beckham Jr. posted a TikTok that gave his followers a look at his 3-month- old son while he stated in the video:
“Me thinking that winning the Super Bowl was going to be the best moment of my life,” the NFL star wote over a clip of him celebrating his Super Bowl win with the Los Angeles Rams in February. “… and then you came along.”

Darren Criss
Glee star, Darren Criss, and wife, Mia Swier, welcomed their first born on April 11th, 2022. Criss later shared a photo of his new baby girl via Instagram, as the caption said, “M & D made some sweet music.”
