With the election everywhere, celebrities have begun publicly announcing who they are supporting. So we’re taking a look at celebrities who are backing Joe Biden in the upcoming election!
The Avengers Cast
Avengers assemble! The Avengers cast will be assembling for a fundraiser supporting Democratic candidate Joe Biden on October 20th. This fundraiser will be completely virtual and include cast members Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Rudd, Zoe Saldana, Mark Ruffalo, and Don Cheadle. That’s not all though, the cast will be joined by vice presidential candidate Senator Kamala Harris. This is clearly a huge deal. When the Avengers are called to assemble, you know they’re needed!

OG Hamilton Cast
The original cast of Lin Manuel Miranda’s Broadway production of Hamilton held a virtual fundraiser for Biden’s campaign too! Earlier this month the cast reunited for this fierce virtual fundraiser. The show’s director Thomas Kail and stars Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, Renee Elise Goldberry, and more participated! The cast even performed “The Room Where it Happens,” one of the production’s most well known songs.
Beastie Boys
For the first time ever, the Beastie Boys have licensed their music for an advertisement. Their song “Sabotage” was featured in a Joe Biden presidential campaign commercial! This commercial spoke about the effect of COVID on the live music industry. It also calls out Donald Trump’s response to the pandemic and features a business owner who has been affected firsthand. We’re glad the Beastie Boys are licensing their music to worthy advertisements!
South Asian Block Party
Don’t you just love Mindy Kaling? I know that I sure do. Mindy was one of the celebrities who attended the virtual event “South Asian Block Party!” Also held earlier this month, this was another Biden approved campaign event. Other stars in attendance were Kumail Nanjiani, Liza Koshy, and Lily Singh.
