Since the proposal of Travis Barker to Kourtney Kardashian, I cannot stop match-making all of Hollywood. Read on to share the excitement over celebrity couples that, fingers crossed, are next to get engaged!
1) Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox

It feels appropriate that we begin with the couple most likely to be found on a date with the now fiancés Barker and Kardashian, Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox. The pair first met in early 2020 on the set of the film, Midnight In The Switchgrass.
In May of 2020, Fox starred in MGK’s “Bloody Valentine” music video, fueling flames to rumors of the pair’s intimate relationship. On June 17, Us Weekly reported that, “Megan and MGK have gotten more serious and are officially dating and referring to one another as boyfriend and girlfriend.”
A month later on the podcast of Midnight in the Switchgrass director, Randall Emmett, the couple shared that they had an instant deep connection. They let the whole world know a week later in an MGK Instagram post, featuring the caption, waited for eternity to find you again … 🔪💫❤️🔪, with “The Universe” tagged as the location. Further, he told Howard Stern that he “didn’t know what [true love] was until me and her made eye contact.” Similarly, this past summer, Megan described their relationship as cosmic, with a “magical” connection, to the Washington Post.
On behalf of those following along, it’s like, what’re you waiting for!?!? Perhaps it is Fox’s recent divorce and children that give her hesitation. After over a year of pretty intense PDA and all the talk of being soulmates, I truly believe congratulations are almost in order for Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox.
2) Kris Jenner and Cory Gamble

Everyone’s favorite momager Kris Jenner reportedly met boyfriend Cory Gamble in Ibiza at a 2014 party thrown by none other than Kanye West. That October, Kim Kardashian posted on Instagram with a group outside of a jet for her 34th birthday trip to Las Vegas. Featuring her friends and sisters, behind Kris is the one and only Cory.
The couple has remained together, primarily out of the limelight. In early 2018, KUWTK featured the storyline of a rocky relationship between Cory and Khloe.
Although engagement rumors have surfaced, Kris shared that she does not see a need for another formal marriage. On podcast Divorce Sucks with Laura Wasser, she said, “I don’t have the need to put on a long, white dress and walk down an aisle. I’ve done that,” she continued. “I’ve had the big wedding, I’ve had the babies and the kids—six of them, by the way.”
Although Kris does not want to make a big deal out of her relationship with Gamble, can’t you just see a cute little ceremony in her backyard? I even envision little Stormi, Chi, and True as flower girls. I’m still holding out for a proposal, are you?
3) Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes

Bachelorette season 13 and Bachelor season 23 alumni Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes first hit it off on season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise. A few weeks into the season, Dean decided to leave the beach, citing a difference in lifestyle between him and Caelynn, saying that she “deserve[s] someone better.” During week 5, however, Unglert returned to ask Miller-Keyes to leave with him. She agrees.
Almost a year later in June of 2020, the pair shared their decision to wear symbolic rings on their respective ring fingers. “It’s our way of telling the world or the people that we’re around that we’re committed to each other,” Unglert said on an episode of The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons – Ever! Caelynn added, “It’s just nice to know that we’re in a strong, committed relationship without necessarily having to get the government involved, as Dean likes to say.”
In April 2021, Dean and Caelynn took their relationship to the next level and became homeowners. Then on an episode of his podcast in September, Dean revealed that he and Caelynn discussed the possibility of marriage on a recent trip to Italy.
Although Dean seemed to reject the idea of marriage in the past, could he be revisiting the subject? Both ex-Bachelor franchise contestants constantly update their social media pages with lovey-dovey content of each other. It is clear that Unglert and Miller-Keyes are in it for the long haul- now when will they tie the knot??
4) Finneas O’Connell and Claudia Sulewski

Finneas O’Connell, brother of beloved Billie Eilish, is a renowned, Grammy-winning songwriter and music producer. After writing and producing the 2016 hit “Ocean Eyes,” O’Connell spent years working with his sister, creating the soulful music we are all drawn to.
Glancing at their social media profiles, it appears that Finneas began dating YouTuber Claudia Sulewski in 2018, and the two have become inseparable.
In the Spring of 2020, the couple started a podcast entitled, We Bought a House, where they discuss the adventures of living together.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Finneas mentioned that he was not yet ready to take the next step of marriage with Claudia. Seeing as this was over a year ago and that O’Connell also mentioned that Claudia is the muse to his songs, the hopeless romantic in me is holding out for a proposal before this year’s end.
5) Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello

Finally, last but most definitely not least, we have fan-favorites Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello.
The two first met while on tour with Austin Mahone in 2014. Camila was still a part of the pop girl group Fifth Harmony, and Shawn was living off Vine fame. When the now strong couple discussed this time with V Magazine, Mendes said, “You were the only person that talked to me,” referring to Cabello.
In November of 2015, the pair released the song, “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” Although the song sparked dating rumors, Mendes told Rolling Stone that the two were just “messing around” with his guitar backstage on Taylor Swift’s 1989 tour.
In June of 2019, the pair dropped the hit song “Señorita.” With lyrics like, “You say we’re just friends/ But friends don’t know the way you taste,” rumors surely resurfaced.
Alas, a month later, pictures started coming to light featuring the two holding hands and even showing some kissing PDA. They even got steamy performing their new single at the 2019 VMA’s. In September, Shawn posted an absolutely iconic video of the two sharing an over-the-top kiss, in response to fans saying they kiss like fish.
When the pandemic first started, photos circulated of the two quarantining together. They later settled in Camila’s Miami home.
In December of 2020, Shawn admitted to Entertainment Tonight that he and Camila have talked about a future engagement.
Over the past year, both Mendes and Cabello continue to hype each other up in interviews and all over social media. It appears that the couple could not be any closer, and that, on taking their love to the next level, the question is not if but when.
Which couple do you think will be the first to get hitched? Let us know!
