Invited to Congress
You read that right — the princess of pop is going to the White House! Britney’s historic win in court last fall called the very nature of court-ordered conservatorships into question and started a conversation about their legality and ethics. Brit shared on February 16 that Charlie Crist and Eric Swalwell had invited her and her attorney Matthew Rosengart to speak at Congress about “the emotional and financial turmoil she faced within the conservatorship system.” Another big win for Britney!

A Tell-All Book
As one of the biggest names in music, Britney is pretty familiar with signing major record deals — but her most recent deal is a little different. It was announced on February 21st that Britney is in the works of penning a tell-all book about her life. The record-breaking $15 million deal will be a memoir about Britney’s life and time in the spotlight and beyond.

Fans expressed their desire to have Britney do a sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey following Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s groundbreaking special last winter — and they might just get their wish! The Sun has reported that Britney was allegedly inspired by Adele’s One Night Only performance and interview with Oprah and is supposedly in the works of scheduling her own.
New Additions to Her Family
Britney and her fiance Sam Asghari have recently added a new member to their household — a white Austrailian shepherd puppy named Sawyer! What a cute addition to their already good-looking family.
