AFTERBUZZ TV – Boardwalk Empire edition, is a weekly “after show” for fans of HBO’s Boardwalk Empire. In this episode host Keven Undergaro breaks down the episode “Margate Sands” in which it’s a full-scale war in Atlantic City, and bodies are piling up on both sides. Nucky, operating out of a lumber yard, seeks to weaken the Rosetti/Masseria alliance while struggling to keep peace between Capone and White. In New York, Luciano is forced to align with both Masseria and Rothstein after the latter reveals his connections. Gillian makes a failed attempt to drug and presumably kill Rosetti. Richard invades Gillian’s house and kills many of Rosetti’s men. Gyp Rosetti escapes the house before he is killed. After Nucky stikes a deal with Rothstein to break Gyp Rosetti, Rosetti meets privately with his assistant and two of his henchman. On orders from Nucky, Gyp’s assistant stabs Gyp to death as he was urinating. Despite the fact that Nucky made a deal that no harm would come to Masseria’s men, Chalky’s army and Capone’s army massacres Masseria’s men. Nucky then uses his political connections to settle a score with Rothstein. Nucky returns home to find an unwelcoming Margret who denounces their relationship. Nucky then proceeds to walk the boardwalk where he is recognized by other pedestrians. While Nucky is depressed because of his condemned relationship, he has retaken control of Atlantic City.
Gillian’s attempt to save the house backfires, while Richard gives Tommy a new home, sacrificing his own relationship with Julia in the process. There to help Keven are co-hosts Bethany Geaber, Kristen Carney, and Eboni Williams. It’s Boardwalk Empire’s “Margate Sands” podcast!
