Plot

Slater King is a name known across Blink Twice’s world. King is a tech billionaire who seems to be just as down to Earth as the next person in line. However, you can’t look past the fact he bought a private island just to have a place to relax, escape even! When Slater King meets cocktail waitress Frida at his fundraising gala, he invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on said private island! With no hesitations, Frida and Jess hop on over to this paradise! From the extraordinary nights, and the days spent soaking in the sun, to enjoying every second with these strangers, the guests hope this trip never ends! However, Frida begins to notice something is wrong. She can’t remember certain events and she begins to question her reality! Now she must unearth the truth to make it out of this nightmarish paradise alive!

Blink Twice features everyone’s favorite hunk of a man, Channing Tatum, as Slater King! The leading lady Frida is played by Naomi Ackie which you may know as Whitney Houston in Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody! Blink Twice’s supporting cast is just as phenomenal! Alia Shawkat most known for playing Maeby Fünke in Arrested Development stars as Jess, alongside Christian Slater, everyone’s favorite JD, starring as Vic, and let’s not forget Adria Arjona, from films such as Hit Man, Father of the Bride, and 6 Underground, playing Sarah!

Not only does Blink Twice have a star-studded lineup for its cast, but the legendary Zoë Kravitz is directing in her directorial debut and co-wrote this film with E.T. Feigenbaum! With all this talent, this film is sure to just smash all of our expectations!

Critics Score

Blink Twice is starting off strong holding a 78% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes and a 77 Metascore on Metacritic! Sophie Butcher of Empire claimed Blink Twice is “a seriously effective, incisive thriller which establishes Zoë Kravitz as a bold directorial talent, and shows you a side of Channing Tatum that you’ve never seen before.” Even Screen Rants’ Mae Abdulbaki states that “the psychological thriller is clever, sharp, and intoxicating, even in its eeriest moments.” With stunning reviews like these and many more, director Zoë Kravitz is definitely in her element with Blink Twice!
