The Academy of Country Music is pulling out all the stops for its milestone 60th ACM Awards! Country superstars Blake Shelton, Eric Church, and reigning Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson are the first performers announced for the highly anticipated event, set to take place on May 8, 2025, live from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
The star-studded show, hosted by 16-time ACM Award winner Reba McEntire, will stream live on Prime Video and Amazon Music’s Twitch channel, reaching audiences in over 240 countries and territories. Tickets are now available through SeatGeek.
The ACM Awards, known for delivering some of the most memorable performances in country music history, will celebrate six decades of the genre with a mix of iconic legends and rising stars.
Six-time ACM Award winner Blake Shelton is set to take the stage as his latest hit, “Texas“, continues its climb up the charts. Meanwhile, seven-time ACM Award recipient Eric Church will perform fresh off the release of his highly anticipated album Evangeline Vs. The Machine, set to drop May 2. Lainey Wilson, the reigning Entertainer of the Year, returns to the ACM stage following her groundbreaking win in 2024.
More performers, presenters, and special collaborations are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, promising a night full of surprises and can’t-miss moments.
The Academy of Country Music Awards is the longest-running country music awards show, first established in 1966. In 2022, the ACMs made history as the first major awards ceremony to exclusively livestream, solidifying its place in the digital era.
This year’s show is produced by Dick Clark Productions, with Raj Kapoor serving as executive producer and showrunner. Patrick Menton joins as co-executive producer, with additional executive production by Damon Whiteside (ACM), Jay Penske, and Barry Adelman (DCP).
Fans can catch all the action live on Prime Video on May 8 at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT / 5 p.m. PT. A limited number of tickets are available for purchase via SeatGeek, offering fans an exclusive chance to experience the biggest night in country music up close.
