The Kardashians is one of the hottest Hulu original shows right now, sharing a whole new side of the family with more classic Kardashian lines than ever before. Here are some of our favorite quotes from this iconic first season!
As the first season of the new Hulu series comes to a close, the show proves that the Kardashian family is back and better. From the very beginning, everyone tuned in as the series became the most-watched series premiere in Hulu history within the United States; and airing on Disney+ and Star+ as well. This season definitely took some unexpected turns with everyone’s busy lives but the family remains just as iconic as before. Here are some of their memorable lines from this season.
“You’re not doing anything wrong, you’re protecting yourself for your reputation and your children’s sake”
Towards the end of the first episode, Kim is on the phone with her lawyer regarding her unreleased tape with Kris, Khloe and Kourtney in the room with her. Khloe tells Kim what to say and Kim repeats it word-for-word over the phone to her lawyer. Kris and Khloe then look at one another and snap in unison. Khloe also tells Kim that this could quite possibly be a good omen as they dealt with this exact issue in the first episode of KUWTK as well.
“Let’s just not hate on a girl who finally knows what she deserves”
Kourtney is in love and we love seeing this side of her! Very early on this season, Kourtney told the cameras that everyone is concerned about Scott’s feelings now that she’s found love. She explains her perspective, as someone who was in a relationship with him for 10 years and never envisioned herself getting married to now, being in a completely different relationship where she has never been happier. Who could possibly hate on this girl?!
“I was just basically DTF”
When Kim is asked by production about her boyfriend and who he is, she gives the story of how she and Pete got together. She explains that the pair immediately hit it off on the set of Saturday Night Live and just continued hanging out. She said they vibe really well and mentioned how refreshing it is to do small, casual things with him. She also added that he’s the sweetest person she knows who remembers the smallest details about her.
“Never go against the family”
In episode eight, Kris can be found sitting in her office alongside Khloe and Scott to discuss the Master Class she’ll be leading. Khloe and Kris go through some of her most useful quotes she could use in the class such as, “Never burn a bridge because you always have to walk back over it… you meet the same people on the way down as you met on the way up” and of course, “never go against the family”. She tells Khloe and Scott that this quote was actually taught to her by Robert Kardashian. Who knew?
“They’re gonna like you for who you are, not what you wear…. I’m just kidding. Obviously.”
Scott has always been nothing short of hilarious. In episode five, he helps Kim decide what to wear for her best friend, Simon’s, wedding. Kim says since it’s a gay wedding she has to look extravagant, so she begins stressing and invites Scott over to ease her nerves and make her laugh. It looks like he did just that; well done, Disick.
“Do you see my snacks anywhere? I always have snacks in the car… I need my snacks.”
Kylie and Kendall drive to In-N-Out and Kylie frantically begins looking for her snacks as they approach the drive-thru. Being pregnant has made her way too relatable as she now keeps a basket of her favorite go-to snacks; genius idea!
“You have to power to decide when you’re not gonna let people do you wrong anymore”
Anyone can admit that this was a hard season for Khloe. In the season finale, she speaks up about her situation and how humiliated she was with everything, even though it was out of her control. It’s no surprise that she continues to show grace by taking the high road and treating this situation as another life lesson.
