Bachelor Biography
Megan Bell made her first appearance in Bachelor Nation in 2015 on Chris Soules’ season of The Bachelor. Bell, a makeup artist from Nashville, started off on a good foot as Soules’ first one-on-one date.
Though they had an initial connection on that first date flying over the Grand Canyon, with Bell opening up to Soules about her father’s death, she later told Good Morning America that things fizzled out.
“Days went by, and I was like, ‘I’m losing grip on it,’” she said. “I saw the other relationships with the other girls progressing more, so and I was just like, ‘I trust Chris and this decision.’”
In week six, she decided to go home and told Soules she was leaving.
“That night, I knew I was going to be saying goodbye,” Bell said. “Goodbyes are hard.”
Bell went on to join the season two cast of Bachelor in Paradise, where she lasted for three weeks before being eliminated.
“Bachelor in Paradise was a very speedy process. I was there for maybe two days and knew I did not belong there,” Bell said in an interview in 2018. “I didn’t understand that particular show before walking into it.”
Where is she now?
In a 2018 interview, Bell said she had moved on in her career to nannying full time. She also revealed she still keeps up with several friends in Bachelor Nation, including Jillian, Mackenzie, Britt, Ashley I., and Juelia.
However, she doesn’t keep up with the franchise.
“Since I’ve come off that ‘reality TV show’ high, I tried separating myself from that franchise as quickly as possible,” she said. “Some people hold on to it for dear life, but I was ready to let go of that phase of my life.”
In that same interview, she also revealed she met the love of her life, Kyle Wesley Davis.
“We met in Nashville while ‘out on the town,’” she said “I was standing in line for the ladies restroom when he walked up to me and said the sweetest things ever. He’s a great guy and treats me well. He’s a keeper.”
The next year, the couple got engaged on Feb. 16, 2019.
“My whole heart asked me to spend the rest of my life with him yesterday,” she wrote on Instagram. “Kyle, you are the perfect, God fearing man for me, and I feel like the luckiest girl!”
They were originally set to marry on May 2, 2020, but the wedding was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They got married in July 2020 in Asheville, North Carolina.
