Bachelor Biography
Lucinda Aragon made an interesting entrance to Bachelor Nation in 2014 as a contestant on Juan Pablo Galavis’ season of The Bachelor. No shoes, no service apparently didn’t apply to the self-proclaimed “free spirit” (yes, that was her listed job title) as she entered the Bachelor Mansion shoeless and dressed like a flower child.
Though Aragon made a bold entrance to the show, she was sent home by Galavis on the third week of filming. She was invited back to the franchise that summer as a guest on the first ever season of Bachelor in Paradise in 2014, where she made it to the fifth week before going home.
Aragon was already making headlines before her season even premiered as Business Insider reported she was dating Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel, pretty much confirming she wouldn’t end up with Galavis.
Aragon made an even bigger impression once her season started airing. After the third episode premiered, she posted an original song on her YouTube entitled “Ess Okay.” The song, performed naked on the ukulele, provided her real thoughts about Galavis.
“Hey JP, I got a song for you. I hope you know it’s for fun, no hard feelings, it’s true,” she sang. “You may be the first Bachelor Latino, but all of America thinks you’re totally mean-o!”
Aragon debuted the song on her Instagram in a Bachelor-themed post where, of course, she was also naked.
“The moment has finally arrived! I give you…the Bachelor Reject Anthem,” she captioned the post. “Original music and lyrics by the only and only #freespirit ME. I just want to show the world that you can make fun of somebody and still be funny rather than mean.”
But in the “Women Tell All” episode, she wasn’t so lighthearted.
“It’s not a game, this is a relationship,” she told Galavis.
Where is she now?
Aragon’s living her free-spirited dream travelling the world, as you can see in her stunning Instagram photos.
Since appearing on The Bachelor franchise, she’s also found love. She’s currently in a relationship with James Williams, and the couple celebrated their three-year anniversary in July 2020.
“Three magical years with the happiest man on the planet,” she shared on Instagram.” “I am so lucky to be loved by you. Very happy to be abnormal with you forever. You are absolutely worth the wait.”
In 2015, Aragon made an appearance as herself on the satirical show, Comedy Bang! Bang! with “Weird Al” Yankovic. The episode spoofed a Bachelor-esque reality TV show and featured fellow reality stars Reza Farahan, Val Chmerkovskiy, Ozzy Lusth, Brooke Williamson and Nadia Turner.
