Bachelor Biography
Joe Bailey joined The Bachelor franchise as a suitor on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette in 2015. Bailey, an insurance agent from Kentucky, was on the show for the majority of the season until Bristowe sent him home week seven.
While Bailey was generally known as a nice guy on Bristowe’s season, he failed to make a great impression in Paradise when he joined the BIP cast for its second season.
He cemented his status as a Bachelor villain when he used contestant Juelia Kinney in order to get a rose so he could stay on the show until Samantha Steffen arrived, whom he formerly had been talking to for more than a month before the show started filming.
Bailey was sent home from Paradise in week four. In the after show for Bachelor in Paradise, host Chris Harrison revealed a book of his more than 400 texts with Steffen which he gave Harrison, documenting his relationship with Steffen before the show started.
Where is he now?
Though Bailey was painted as a villain on Bachelor in Paradise, he spends his time helping others. He now rescues horses and races in Kentucky.
