Bachelor Biography
Bettina Bell joined Bachelor Nation in 2007 as a contestant on Brad Womack’s season of The Bachelor. Bell, a realtor from Washington, D.C., credited Bachelor alum Tessa Horst for her applying.
“I don’t know if I would have done it if it weren’t for her,” she told The Washington Post.
Horst and Bell were childhood friends, and Horst inspired Bell to go on the show. Ultimately, Bell made it to the final three before Womack eliminated her in week seven.
“I am really shocked. I completely, completely was falling in love with him, and… I did not see this coming at all,” she said in the episode. “I trusted that I was falling in love with Brad, and he was falling in love with me, and that was so not the case.”
But Bell said after the show that she questioned her emotions for Womack.
“It was more of a crush, magnified by the fact that there are 24 other women who are digging the guy you dig. So it’s blown out of proportion,” she said in the Washington Post interview just after the show. “You’re in this dreamland, and all of a sudden, you come to reality again.”
Where is she now?
In November 2020, Bell welcomed a baby girl.
“Coco Belle Khoury … you are a dream come true,” she wrote on Instagram. “So thankful to be holding our healthy baby girl, born 11/29/20. We couldn’t be more in love!!!”
Since The Bachelor she also started a swimwear line, Bettina Bell Design.
