Bachelor Biography
Amber Bacon joined the Bachelor Nation crew in 2012 on Ben Flajnik’s season of The Bachelor. Bacon, a labor and delivery nurse from British Columbia, was sent home on week one of the show.
Flajnik’s season premiere was considered one of the “most gimmicky” premieres of the franchise, and Bacon took advantage of her last name for her intro, having him kiss her hand to get a “taste of Bacon.”
“My friends call me the baconator. Do you like bacon?” she said.
In an interview after the show, Bacon said she was a big fan of The Bachelor and excited to be on the show, but that the first night wasn’t too easy.
“At the beginning it was really stressful because it’s so quiet and there are so many people watching you,” she said, and in another interview, “It can be really stressful and there’s a lot of high emotions, but it’s a lot of fun and it’s such a great experience and I really enjoyed it.”
Where is she now?
Two years after The Bachelor, Bacon left nursing to go into medical sales. She now lives in Miami, FL.
