We are halfway through season 4 of All American. Here are our thoughts on the season so far!
*Spoiler Alert for All American season 4*
From the very first time, I watched All American I have been hooked, and I’m even more drawn in now that we’re in the fourth season.
With the episodes that have come out so far, it would be neglectful not to discuss it considering the fact that it’s one of the best shows out right now and my favorite.
For those of you who are like me and love All American, you are patiently waiting for the next episode to come out, but if you don’t want any spoilers you might want to revisit this review.
In the meantime, here is a recap of what’s been going on this season and how we’re feeling about it.
Coop is alive
Coop is such a crucial character in this show and she brings the drama! As we all know at the end of season 3 she got shot and we had to wait anxiously until this season to see what happened.
The producer purposely had us thinking that in the first episode of season 4 she passed away. I couldn’t believe it at the time, but I’m relieved to know that she is in fact, not dead.
We have been witnessing her as she’s been going through her own personal struggles and I’m curious to see what is in store for her for the episodes to come.
Spencer vs. Coach Baker
Maybe I’m being a little dramatic when I say Spencer vs. Coach Baker because it’s not like they were going head to head, but it did make me upset knowing that these two were not in a good space for a while.
As we all know, Spencer is like Coach Baker’s second son. He has been with him during his success since the very beginning.
Spencer is also dating Coach Baker’s daughter, Olivia, so there’s no way they can be mad at each other forever.
Spencer and Olivia are flourishing
I wrote an article about Spencer and Olivia’s cutest moments and I have so many more to add now!
From the very first episode, I knew they were going to end up together! I just hope nothing changes as they are going to college soon.
I’m still a #Speliva fan.
Coach Baker & Mr. Carter have come a long way
When Coach Baker first started coaching at Crenshaw High, he and the superintendent Mr. Cater had lingering beef from when they were younger.
It has been a pleasant surprise to see these two put their differences aside and create a special bond throughout the seasons.
So far, I have been impressed with this season and I can’t wait for the next episode to come out.
You can watch season four of the show every Monday at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
