Abbott Elementary Fan Reactions to the Season 4 Premiere

Abbott Elementary has left fans eagerly anticipating Season 4 after its thrilling Season 3 finale. The show’s heartwarming blend of humor, heart, and social commentary has captivated audiences, and the cliffhanger ending has only heightened the excitement for what’s to come. Season 3 ended with Janine and Gregory finally admitting their feelings for each other and sharing a kiss! Janine is back at Abbott Elementary this season after leaving her job with the district, and fans are desperate to know if Janine and Gregory are going to make it work while working together!

Principal Ava’s Opening Scene

Abbott Elementary fans were delighted to see Janelle James back in her role as Principal Ava to open the season! Her shock and confusion at a White child attending the school is pure comedic gold! Imagine being called a ghost on your first day of school!

A lot of fans were curious to see how their favorite will they or won’t they couple is turning out. Although there was a brief fake out that scared fans into thinking they broke up, it didn’t last long! Fans were happy to see that Janine (Quinta Brunson) and Gregory (Tyler James Williams) made their relationship official by the end of the episode, finally! If you didn’t know, fans affectionately call them “Teddie” from their last names, Ms. Teagues + Mr. Eddie! 

Mr. Morton and Jacob

Mr. Morton is quickly becoming the Toby to Jacob’s Michael Scott on Abbott Elementary! Chris Perfetti (Jacob) and Jerry Minor (Mr. Morton) expertly play off each other in a way that fans can’t help but find hilarious! We love their deadpan comments toward one another!

The Golf Course

It seems that the overarching conflict this season may come from Abbott Elementary’s new neighbors. A luxury golf course is being built nearby, already causing problems for the staff through its construction and gentrifying the area. We see a representative from the golf course visit the school to bribe them in the final moments of the episode, but some fans think this won’t be the last we see of them!
