ABBA recently announced they will be releasing a new album after 40 years and we can’t stop listening to some of their best music. Here are some of our fav songs to get you ready for their new music!
Don’t go wasting your emotions, lay all your love on ABBA’s new album set to release in November! We can’t stop listening to some of their classics leading up to the release. And you should be jamming out too! Here are a few of our faves that should be added to your playlist.
“When I Kissed The Teacher”
This song took a look into the Swedish educational system when a schoolgirl could no longer handle the hots she had for a geometry teacher… And we can’t handle the hots we get for this song.
“Dum Dum Diddle”
We still can’t get over how creative… plus how catchy this song is! A girl is in love with a boy who can’t stop playing his violin, and she hopes she’ll be able to take his heart away from it. But for now… “Dum dum diddle, your darling fiddle.”
“Super Trouper”
This is a personal favorite… So I may be a bit biased, but this is one of their most enjoyable songs. It’s fun, it’s upbeat, and it’s the perfect song to perform on karaoke night!
“Tiger”
This song is feisty and spunky… what’s not to love? Plus, if you can’t get into the rocker lyrics, you can wait until the end… and trust us, it’s worth waiting for.
“Waterloo”
This song is what gave ABBA global fame, after winning the Eurovision Song Contest with this song. So if you’re an ABBA fan, you kind of have to love this song. And it won’t be too hard to.
“Hey, Hey Helen”
This is another powerful rock song sung by the group. A little surprising it was never featured in either of the Mamma Mia movies, but nevertheless, it is still a song exploding with power.
“Dancing Queen”
Yeah… No one thought this song would be left out, right? A classic to this day and is universally loved. Not only are the lyrics poetic and beautiful, but the music couldn’t flow better with the words. We’ve all been the dancing queen at some point in our lives.
Their new album “Voyage” is set to release on November 5th. And mamma mia, are we excited!
