Long ago, Teen-Nick made awesome content. Then, everything changed when coronavirus attacked. Only Avatar: The Last Airbender from 2005 could entertain people, but in 2008 it vanished (completed). Twelve years passed and a network discovered a new After Show, a retro rewind of perfect TV, and although our panelists are remaining safe indoors, we have a lot of time remaining for isolation, but I believe the AFTERBUZZ TV AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER AFTER SHOW can save the world.
Episode 7 recap:
Aang, Katara, and Sokka make their way to the Earth Kingdom city of Omashu, where we meet the greatest recurring character of the show, the cabbage man! While there, they are held prisoner by the King of Omashu who forces Aang to complete three tasks to prove himself and for the King to set Sokka and Katara free. After completing the tasks, Aang realizes that the King is his childhood friend Bumi who imparts the wisdom of trusting your friends on Aang before he and his friends head out on their way.
Episode 8 recap:
Aang, Katara, and Sokka find themselves in an Earth Kingdom village being “protected” by fire nation soldiers. The group meet an Earth Bender named Haru who, after sole promoting from Katara, uses his bending to save an old man from dying. After the old man turns Haru in to the fire nation officers, Katara lets herself get arrested in an effort to break Haru out of prison. Katara joins Haru in prison and helps free him, and the rest of the imprisoned Earth Benders, to take back their villages from the Fire Nation. Sumo returns and picks up katara’s mother’s necklace which she left in the Earth Kingdom prison.
This after show was hosted by Gunner Teixeira, Elgin Ball, and Eric Jewell.
