You
This psychological thriller series has been captivating fans for a while now! In the first season, the main character Joe manages a bookstore and just so happens to be a serial killer. He becomes infatuated with a woman named Guinevere Beck and he obsesses over her the entire first season even going to extreme lengths to make sure Guinevere becomes his girlfriend.
There are two more seasons that are currently out and a fourth season is in the works. Shay Micthell, who played the beloved character Emily Fields on Pretty Little Liars, is also in the show. The mystery, murder, and surprises that you find in out are definitely familiar themes that we see from PLL.
All three seasons of the show are currently available on Netflix.
Famous in Love
This show revolves around Paige Townsen who quickly rises to fame when she lands the leading role in a movie. She now must learn to deal with her new found fame and success and the changes it causes in her life, while also trying to balance her relationships with her friends. There is a lot of drama and romance in this show, something PLL fans know all too well! The two shows even share the same creator, I. Marlene King.

The show has a lot of drama and keeps you on your toes throughout its five seasons. Seeing people from different backgrounds and circumstances come together and form a bond definitely reminds us of PLL.

This show revolves around two girls, Bay, who grew up in a wealthy family and has a brother, and Daphne, a solo child from a single mother who lost her hearing at a young age. The two end up finding out as teenagers that they were switched at birth. After finding out Daphane’s family is dealing with money struggles, Daphane, her mother, and grandmother end up moving into Bay’s family’s guest house, allowing the two girls to get to know their respective birth families. Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists
Of course, we had to include this spinoff show created by I. Marlene King. It takes place a few years after where the original Pretty Little Liars left off and stars original series characters, Allison and Mona, as they leave Rosewood and travel to Beacon Heights for a fresh start. However, their fresh start is not as perfect as they may have intended. The show only lasted for one season, but it’s definitely worth watching, especially if you were wondering what happens to these characters in the future.
The show is currently streaming on Hulu.
While Pretty Little Liars was an iconic show that can never be replaced, all on this list are equally as good for different reasons! Take a look at these seven shows and let us know what you think on Twitter @AfterBuzzTV.
