If you love Chris Evans and are looking for your next movie watch, check out this list of his amazing films that need more attention!
Over the course of his career, Chris Evans has been in a wide range of different films. While he is most known for recent films like his recurring role as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and his lovable-asshole character Ransom Drysdale in Rian Johnson’s Knives Out, there are so many other amazing films he has been in that don’t get as much love as they should. Here are five underrated films that showcase Chris’ diverse roles and talent as an actor that has made him a household name.
Before We Go
Chris Evans’ directorial debut is not a film to be overlooked, and the honest, romantic drama Before We Go, while not the most amazing movie he has been in, truly showcases raw emotion and simple life in ways that we don’t often see from Chris in other films where he plays larger than life characters.
I just finished watching Before We Go with #ChrisEvans and Alice Eve and why am I sitting in a empty house crying like a baby? Sniffs. 😭 This is my favorite romantic movie with @ChrisEvans ❤️ It was cool seeing his brother Scott briefly in it and Mark from ASP. #WeLoveWhoWeLove pic.twitter.com/Tw5BElpxPw

The Losers
In The Losers, Chris’ adorably lovable tech guy Jensen makes the movie a thousand times better. With an incredible lineup of other award-winning actors like Jeffery Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana, and Idris Elba, this DC film is equal parts action-packed and hilarious.
My mom randomly put on a movie (The Losers) and woah I was not expecting Chris Evans over here looking like Mr hottie Mc hot pants the whole movie. Very distracting pic.twitter.com/NvUfspuKpl

What’s Your Number
Set in his hometown of Boston, What’s Your Number is hands down one of the best rom-com movies ever made. Chris plays a musician by day playboy by night that the main character Ally, played by Ana Faris, can’t get away from. This film also has an incredibly talented cast, including Chris Pratt, Anthony Mackie, Andy Samberg, and even Gwyneth Paltrow’s mom Blythe Danner.

Gifted
If seeing Chris being the perfect father figure is something you need in your life, this movie is the ideal watch. Starring McKenna Grace, this film is both heartwarming and inspiring in equal measure. The acting in this film alone should have earned both Chris and McKenna their Oscars.
The movie Gifted is on Tubi so definitely must watch. Arguably one of Chris Evans’ best movies. He saves a 1 eyed cat. 5/5 highly recommend. pic.twitter.com/rgPM6SOcnM

Push
This grungy movie from Chris’ earlier years is definitely a must-see if you’re looking for a movie that’s action-packed but takes itself a little too seriously. Co-starring Camilla Belle and Dakota Fanning, the movie delves deep into the world of enhanced humans and will definitely mess with your mind a little.
Okay how come no one talks about Push?? Chris was fantastic as Nick Gant and the movie was really good!! So underrated. It definitely deserved the sequel it was so perfectly set up for pic.twitter.com/qzsDd2w0c0

Honorable mentions for this list definitely include The Nanny Diaries, Sunshine, and Cellular. It seems like everything Chris Evans is in is always a huge hit, and Ghosted, where he returns to the screen with Ana De Armas, will certainly be no different.
