Not everyone can understand what it’s like to be in the upper-class, but as the Rose’s become more average, they show how much they are just like everyone else. Here are 5 times that the Rose family was like us!
They Family Feud in the Kitchen
David and Moira attempt to cook enchiladas that Moira claimed she had always made, which in turn, made them join cooking forces together. The pair could not keep their cool and ended up arguing about the meaning of “fold” in cooking terms for a little too long and in the end, the food turned out surprisingly not horrible. We know they definitely won’t be making food together again in the near future.
They Miss Important Texts
It may or may not be relatable to run away from your family or have a relative run away at some point, but I’m sure everyone has the experience of missing vital text messages. David runs away from his family and texts Alexis about his whereabouts, but Alexis’ failure to respond added length to their discovery of David in Amish country. Super relatable right?
They Know Taxes Can Be Confusing
While working at the Blouse Barn, David takes tax write-offs a bit too far while lacking the understanding of their true purpose in serving the business itself. Johnny catches David’s aloofness in regards to what he’s purchased on the company budget to write-off and educates him on what qualifies for them. It’s ok though, doesn’t everyone get their dad to help them with their taxes anyways?
Their Mom Makes Everyone Blush at Graduation
Usually, at graduation, your mom starts a wave and screams your name with your family as you get called up to the stage, but Moira takes it one step further on Alexis’ big day. Moira takes her choir of Jazzagals up on stage for a surprise performance in Alexis’ honor, creating a loving exchange for the family. At least Alexis knows her family supports her and her achievements!
They Learned to Bargain at the Car Dealership
Setting out to buy your first car, you must know how to win the fight with the salesperson. They can be relentless in getting you to overpay on a used car, so you need a game plan in order to get the best deal. We wouldn’t have been the first to take advice from the Rose’s by faking an accent and story about being subject to adoption by Russian mobsters, but since the seller pitied them and gave a discount anyways, we might have to reconsider!
