We can’t get enough of Summer Walker and her music! In case you are new to her songs though, here are 5 that you need to know!
Summer Walker is one of those artists who never disappoints when it comes to her music. Her album Over it had all the girls in their feelings and we all can’t wait until her next album drops.
She announced that her new album, Still Over It, will drop on November 5th, but before it does I have to tell you the top 5 songs you should listen to in honor of this new album.
“Ex For A Reason” (Featuring JT from City Girls)
This song is an early release on her new album and it is such a bop!
It’s one of those songs that you blast at home and dance to in front of your mirror. Some people said the song had to grow on them, but for me, I loved it the first time I heard it.
JT added so much sass and this was a feature that I didn’t know I needed.
“Girls Need Love”
This is definitely a classic! If you haven’t heard it yet, then please go listen to it now! This song will have you in your feelings just a bit, but a girl wants what a girl wants! #Period
“Let it Go”
This is a song you’d listen to after a bad breakup.
Summer tells the girls to let it go! It’s so beautiful because it just reminds you that you aren’t the only one who may be going through rough times in a relationship.
Her music is just so relatable!
“Playing Games”
This is another classic and one that also might put you in your feelings.
In the song, Summer is expressing that she never asks for too much, but just for simple things.
“All I ever asked was you to show me some love, kisses, and hugs,” I feel like most women can relate to this because that’s all we want.
She takes the words right out of our mouths!
“I’ll Kill You” ( Featuring Jhene Aiko)
The name of the song may seem extreme but let me explain.
Have you ever felt so strongly about someone that you’d do almost anything for them? Yeah, me too!
She’s stating that she’s not playing about her man and at some point in our lives we’ve felt this way about someone and if you haven’t … you will someday!
These are just a few songs from Summer Walker that are on my daily rotation even if I’m not in my feelings.
I can’t wait to sing my heart out in a few days when her new album drops!
