5 Songs SNL Should Use For A Domingo Skit

SNL’s new character Domingo has gained popularity after Ariana Grande and other SNL cast members performed a poorly sung version of Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso. It was later followed up with a version of Charli XCX singing Chappell Roan’s song Hot To Go, but what’s next? Here are 5 songs we think SNL should use for a Domingo Skit next.

Cuff It by Beyonce

The appeal of the Domingo sketch is that they are songs that someone’s friends or bridesmaids would perform for a special event, and Beyonce’s “Cuff It” is definitely one of those songs. The dances that were made for TikTok would be a great addition to Kelsey’s bridesmaids’ repertoire.

360 by Charli XCX

Not only does Domingo’s name fit perfectly into the song’s melody, but it can also offer SNL to do the funniest thing and have  Sabrina Carpenter sing to reveal to Chloe Fineman’s in-sketch husband that Domingo is still in their life. They’ve already done her song, maybe it’s time to have her sing someone else’s.

That’s So True by Gracie Abrams

Mikey Day’s character in the Domingo sketches has been done wrong continuously, so it would only be fair if he too got to perform a badly sung song with a celebrity guest. “That’s so True” has been trending at the moment, and definitely could relate to the heartache Mikey Day’s character is facing.

London Boy by Taylor Swift

If SNL would like to continue the trend of doing popular artist’s songs then obviously Taylor Swift has to be included. And it would be incredibly easy for SNL to change London to Miami, where Domingo lives, as a shock factor to Kelsey’s husband.

The Boy Is Mine by Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande has already made her appearance in the first Domingo sketch, but that doesn’t mean she can’t make another. Introducing a new character would allow fans to find new things about the sketch to enjoy. Who says that Domingo can’t also have a side-relationship like Kelsey.
