Many of us were left wanting more after Love Is Blind season two and its reunion in March, but we won’t have to wait much longer. On September 16, Netflix will release Love Is Blind: After the Altar: Season 2, where viewers can expect to see what’s happened with participants including Nick Thompson, Danielle Ruhl, Jarrette Jones, Iyanna McNeely, Deepti Vempati, Shayne Jansen, and Natalie Lee, since the experiment. Netflix is giving us three 45-minute episodes uncovering what the participants have been up to since the show’s reunion.
What Happened Since Kyle Confessed His Feelings for Deepti During the Love Is Blind Reunion?
During the reunion, Kyle expressed regret for not proposing to Deepti in the pods, and Deepti revealed that they did have a budding romance in the pods that wasn’t shown. Paired with social media rumors and public sightings, we’re dying to know what has transpired between them since the reunion. Unfortunately, their relationship status has remained unclear as the two have never directly answered when asked about it. However, the trailer shows the two kissing and discussing their relationship, so we hope to get a definitive answer on their statuses.

How Did the Shayne, Shaina, and Natalie Situation Really Go Down?
After Natalie said she couldn’t marry Shayne at the altar, the two continued to work on their relationship but ultimately parted ways after several months. Shaina and Shayne have continually denied any romantic relationship between them. Still, the teaser for the upcoming series shows Natalie claiming that “much more has happened, and she needs to tell her truth.” Hints that something more went on between the three leave viewers begging for answers.
Will Shake be There?
Most cast members seemed upset at Abhishek “Shake” Chatterjee during the reunion at one point or another, and he was a controversial figure throughout the season. Many fans noticed the majority had unfollowed him on social media after the reunion. He was nowhere to be seen in the trailer and is the only unconfirmed cast member that made it to the altar. Even if Shake himself isn’t on the show, we hope to get some details and updates on him from the rest of the cast.

What Have Their Love Lives Looked Like Since The Show’s End?
None of the couples from the show are still together, but some of them have moved on to new successful relationships, like Salvador Perez and Shaina Hurley. Shaina got married in July of 2022. However, Mallory Zapata seems to have avoided the dating scene, taking time for herself. We hope to gain some insight into what lessons they’ve learned from the show and how they’ve used that knowledge since it ended.

What Transpired Between the Couples That Said ‘I Do?’
Only two couples from the season walked away married, and both announced their split within the same week last month. We were seriously rooting for Nick and Danielle to live happily ever after in their hot dog costumes. Of course, we are saddened by the news of the couples’ splits and hope to gain some insight. Iyanna Jones briefly talked about her time in the pod and her marriage to Jarrette Jones with Diary Of An Empath Podcast in early September. However, there weren’t too many details about the pair’s relationship.
Ultimately, the biggest question we hope gets answered is how the cast members have grown since the show. As invested as we may be in the juicy details we genuinely hope to see that cast happy and living their best lives!
Viewers can also look forward to a sneak peek at Love Is Blind Season 3, which wrapped filming in March and will be released later this year. We can look forward to many more couples and drama as Netflix has renewed Love Is Blind through season five.
