Featuring hit acapella group Pentatonix, the movie follows Layla (Christina Milian) as she races across New York to secure tickets to the Pentatonix concert in hopes of reuniting with James (Kofi Siriboe), the man of her dreams. She has the help of Teddy (Devale Ellis), who she met the same day as James, but the two are so focused on setting her up with James that they don’t think about the relationship in front of them. Another musical that made the list is The Merry Gentlemen, a steamy Holiday story that follows Ashley (Britt Robertson), a former dancer who stages an all-male Christmas performance in order to save her parents’ performing arts venue, the Rhythm Room. Chad Michael Murray stars alongside Britt Robertson as Luke, a contractor who helps out at the Rhythm Room and star performer of the show. Chad Michael Murray and Britt Robertson have lots of chemistry, and the movie offers a fun and flirty take on the Christmas rom-com.
