The release of Hulu’s Pam & Tommy has us thinking of other celebrity relationships we would love to see a series about. From Beyoncé & Jay Z to Britney & JT, here are some of our top picks!
Love it or hate it, there’s no denying the impact Pam & Tommy made on television and pop culture this year. The limited Hulu series detailing the lives of the former couple and the scandal of their infamous sex tape was a massive success that exposed a whole new generation to the drama that unfolded years ago. From the acting and the costumes to the juicy details and gripping plot, Pam & Tommy had all the makings of a hit — but it was its main characters, Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee Jones, that made it so compelling.
Pamela and Tommy aren’t the only celebrity couple to hold such a grip on pop culture. Following the success of Pam & Tommy, the opportunities for a revival of a former It-couple are endless — here’s which celeb couples we think would make a great bio-series!
Britney Spears & Justin Timberlake
Brit and JT were the All-American couple: the Jackie and JFK of their time. The two met as children on The Mickey Mouse Club, later reconnected when Britney opened on tour for *NSYNC and then dated in secret when Brit’s career took off. These childhood sweethearts would surely make for an interesting show (and just think of the denim outfit revival!).

Angelina Jolie & Billy Bob Thornton
They were a couple that was as shocking as they were beautiful. Angelina was a nepotism-baby-turned-starlet and Billy Bob was a successful actor — a match made in heaven. The two met onset of Pushing Tin and were married in 2000. While the details of their love may be a little “bloody,” we’re all just a little curious about the vials they wore around their necks.
Elvis & Priscilla Presley
While we may get to see some of this play out in the upcoming film starring Austin Butler, we’d love nothing more than to get an entire series dedicated to the infamous couple. Priscilla’s father was Elvis’ commander when he was in the service and the two met when she was just a teenager. While they didn’t last, they were truly iconic and easily one of the best-looking couples of all-time.

Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes & Andre Rison
While many documentaries and docuseries have touched on this famous couple of the past, they’ve never had their story retold in a medium such as a bio-series. Their connection to Tupac, the fire, the music of TLC and the height of Andre’s NFL career would make for a bingeworthy television show — you just can’t make this stuff up.
Beyoncé & Jay Z
The It-couple of hip-hop royalty (and of life, tbh) would probably make the greatest show of all-time — just think of the soundtrack. They’ve got a love and two power careers for the ages. Who knows? Maybe we’d finally find out what happened in that elevator with Solange.
