2024 Billboard Music Awards Fan Reactions

The 2024 Billboard Music Awards premiered on December 12th, and fans around the world watched in anticipation to see if their favs would take home an award. Here is what they had to say about the show.

Taylor Swift Sweep

After a record-breaking 2024, it should be no surprise that Taylor Swift absolutely dominated the categories she was in. This year, she won the most awards in Billboard history, ten in total, including Top Artist, Top Female Artist, and Top Billboard 200 Album

Tyla Performance

A standout performance was Tyla. The performances were pre-recorded, but that didn’t stop Tyla from turning out. Fans were commenting about how she truly is a force to be reckoned with. The singer also won two awards for Top Afrobeats Artist and Top Afrobeats Song.

Sabrina Carpenter Snub

Despite continuously sitting on the Billboard Charts, Sabrina Carpenter failed to snag a single award. Fans are obviously unhappy, as it was suspected that Sabrina Carpenter would at least win an award for “Espresso” after a record-breaking year.

Jungkook Wins

As usual, the Kpop fans showed out. Jungkook became the most-awarded Kpop soloist after winning both Top Kpop Album and Top Global Kpop Song. Fans are obviously incredibly excited and have taken to social media to congratulate him.

Chappell Roan Best New Artist

Chappell Roan has won her first Billboard award after being crowned Billboard’s Top New Artist. The star has been nominated for numerous new artist awards and has been sweeping all of them. Could this be a sign for a future Grammy?

Congratulations to all the Billboard winners and nominees!
