Sara Bareilles and Joe Tippet announced their engagement on New Year’s Day after five years together! Sara wrote on Instagram, “Yes to marrying this man. It’s an easy, earned, relaxed YES.” The two met in August 2015 while working together on the hit musical Waitress during the out-of-town tryout in Cambridge, Massachusetts. They made their first official public appearances on opening night for All the Fine Boys, People and EW’s Upfronts Party, and the 2017 Tony Awards. Tessa Virtue, an ice skater, and Morgan Rielly, an NHL superstar, have come one step closer to saying “I Do.” Tessa revealed the engagement on the Without Losing Your Cool podcast. During the interview, Tessa explained that she met Rielly through a mutual friend, but rumors of them dating began at the start of COVID-19 when they joined an Instagram Live together during quarantine. Rielly feels “very fortunate” about the engagement, per his interview with Toronto Sun’s Lance Hornby.

Bachelor in Paradise alum Michelle Money and Mike Weir announced their engagement on January 8th on Michelle’s Instagram. She wrote, “After dating for almost 7 years- we both want to take that next step and tie the knot.” Mike popped the question while they were on vacation in New Zealand. Ever since going public in August 2016, the two have been active on social media as a couple. Mike and Michelle began dating the same year that Michelle ended her relationship with Cody Sattler, her co-star on Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars. We can’t wait to see the wedding pics!

The two met through DMs. Viall told E! News’ Down in the DMs that Natalie sent him a DM saying, “You’re unreal.” The two began dating in July 2020, but they didn’t go Instagram official until January 27th, 2021. Nick first mentioned marrying Natalie in July 2021 in an interview with the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. He said, “I wouldn’t be in a relationship with her if I didn’t think it was possible, you know?” Well Nick, you predicted the future! Congratulations!
