Throughout the series, Midge’s goal is to flip the script for women in comedy in the late 1950’s to early 1960’s, and fans would agree that she is doing a pretty damn good job. It’s impossible to watch Mrs. Maisel without feeling empowered to copy Midge’s strength and confidence, both on and off-stage.
