Snoop Dogg Will Headline Netflix NFL Christmas Halftime Show

Snoop Dogg will headline Netflix’s NFL Christmas Gameday halftime show during Lions vs. Vikings, bringing a holiday party performance to a global audience on December 25.

Netflix is turning Christmas Day into a must-watch event for football and music fans alike.

On December 25, Netflix will stream NFL Christmas Gameday live, featuring two marquee matchups — and a headline-grabbing halftime performance from global icon Snoop Dogg. The rapper will take center stage during Lions vs. Vikings with Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party, delivering what promises to be a festive, high-energy performance for a worldwide audience.

The Christmas Day action begins with Cowboys vs. Commanders kicking off at 1 p.m. ET from Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland. That game will be followed by Lions vs. Vikings at 4:30 p.m. ET, live from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where Snoop Dogg’s halftime show will unfold. Pregame coverage begins at 11 a.m. ET.

Snoop Dogg will bring his signature West Coast style, chart-topping hits, holiday spirit, and special guests to the halftime stage, performing live for Netflix’s global audience of more than 300 million members.

NFL, Netflix and your uncle Snoop on Christmas Day?” Snoop Dogg said in a statement. “We’re servin’ up music, love and good vibes for the whole world to enjoy. That’s the kind of holiday magic Santa can’t fit in a bag.”

Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria called the collaboration a major holiday moment, uniting the NFL with one of music’s most recognizable figures. She described the halftime show as the ultimate gift for Netflix members, blending sports, culture, and entertainment on one of the biggest days of the year.

To mark the announcement, Netflix released a special video narrated by funk legend George Clinton, teasing the festive spectacle set for Minnesota. Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party is produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment.

NFL Christmas Gameday returns to Netflix in 2025 following last year’s inaugural event, which featured Beyoncé headlining halftime of the Ravens-Texans game with the four-time Emmy-nominated Beyoncé Bowl. The 2025 games will be produced by CBS Sports, with NFL Media handling pregame, postgame, and halftime programming. EverWonder Studio will executive produce NFL Christmas Gameday.

In addition to streaming live on Netflix, the Christmas Day games will air on CBS affiliates in the competing team cities and be available on U.S. mobile devices with NFL+. Continuing a new holiday tradition, each team playing on Christmas Day will wear a festive holiday-inspired patch featuring the NFL shield backed by candy canes during both their Week 16 and Christmas Day games.

This Christmas, the party isn’t just under the tree — it’s live on Netflix.
